The Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines returned to Ankeny this year for their biggest annual event. HomeShowExpo was held at Kimberley Estates, showcasing nine luxury homes built by seven of the area’s finest builders. Attendees viewed the latest in trends, products and technology and see what is on the horizon for home building, landscaping and decorating. Homes topped the million-dollar price point and, as always, the builders pulled out all the stops in their designs.
Home #1: Unique Homes
This Contemporary Ranch plan has been custom designed with luxurious and relaxing indoor and outdoor living space. The main level is 2,389 square feet and the lower level is 1,939 square feet. It features four large bedrooms, four baths and an oversized three car garage. An extended entryway creates room separation while maintaining the beautiful open concept, and the intentional window placement throughout the home allows for plenty of natural light and gorgeous views.
